Industrial automation · UK · Dedicated engineering team
Sevendyne hired and staffed SolidWorks, PLC, and SCADA engineers for a UK industrial automation partner (2019–2024), then that dedicated team engaged under client technical direction on OEM programmes for tier-1 automotive suppliers in the UK.
3-minute CTO brief — embedded engineering pod
We staffed a multi-discipline industrial pod and placed them inside the UK partner’s programmes — standups with UK engineering leads, drawing reviews, and day-to-day pairing on PLC/SCADA scopes. This is not a software product case — it is a multi-year industrial bench. UK OEM programmes needed SolidWorks, PLC, and SCADA capacity without the client running payroll in India. Sevendyne built the team; the UK client owned technical direction, drawings, and acceptance.
| Dimension | UK industrial pod | TLMS / PayU software builds |
|---|---|---|
| Deliverable | Engineering hours on client programmes | Shipped software modules |
| Architecture owner | UK client engineering lead | Joint / Sevendyne pod |
| Success metric | Programme continuity, compliance, skill mix | Production uptime, feature velocity |
| Tooling | SolidWorks, vendor PLCs, SCADA suites | Laravel, Qt, CodeIgniter, etc. |
Tier-1 automotive suppliers run 3–5 year programmes. Building an India entity for 8–12 engineers fails on compliance overhead and hiring latency. A single Sevendyne contract gives a named bench with transparent economics — actual salaries + payroll fee bands (5% freelance · 10% EOR · 15% office infrastructure) — while technical accountability stays in the UK.
